Ray Keith – DJ, Producer, Remixer, Record Label Head Honcho, Radio & TV Presenter and one of the orginal Drum & Bass pioneers, has been on the circuit for at over 15 years.

After finding his niche within the Drum and Bass scene in the early 90s having initially remixed tracks for Moby, Shades Of rhythm, St. Etienne and Orbital, he then went on to notch up two of the scenes most memorable releases of all time with ‘The Renegade Terrorist’ and ‘The Chopper’.

Always at the cutting edge of Drum and Bass and with regular shows on Vibe FM and appearances on Kiss FM, plus running his labels Dread Recordings, Penny Black and UFO Records, it’s a wonder at all that he’s found time to record his first ever sample pack entitled ‘Ray Keith Original Drum & Bass Vol.1′ – now available through Loopmasters.

Here Ray Talks to LoopTV about his experiences about making the pack and why he thought it necessary to give back a little of his unique production sound to his ever increasing audience of fans!

Ray remains one of the hardest working producers on the DnB scene and certainly one of the ‘Godfathers of DnB’ who continues to push the boundaries of his productions and DJ sets!  If Drum and Bass had a face – no doubt it would look exactly like Ray Keith’s!
