Paul Oakenfold has been touted as one of the world’s leading DJ/remixers by various outlets including CNN, Rolling Stone, BPM, Remix and more.  The 2x Grammy nominee for ‘Best Electronic/Dance Album’ with ‘A Lively Mind’ (2007, Maverick Records) and ‘Creamfields’ (2004, Thrive Records) continues to strive forward with his club nights, global residencies and record company signings.

Having just returned from Moscow Paul talks to LoopTV about the recording for his new album, and how he compiles, collaborates and markets his albums to reflect the country they are released in.

Paul talks about some of his collaborators on the new album, plus his motivation for getting back to basics, and why re- embracing the soul of an album is a good thing!

Lastly he shines a light on some of the new DJs that have caught his eye on the world stage for 2010!
