We recently caught up with Nu Jazz and electronic sensation ‘The Part Time Heroes’ at their central London residence for a roof top chat – about the last couple of years and to talk about their latest projects.
Championed by the likes of Giles Peterson, their ‘Radio One Worldwide Awards’ nominated ‘Realise’ EP put them on the map back in 2006, and since then they have released a number of critically acclaimed singles and remixed by the likes of Fried, Wallis Bird, MJ Cole and Citizen Cope.
Their debut album ‘Meanwhile…’ on Wah Wah 45’s Records and on Entak in Japan, released Sept 08, features double BBC Jazz Award winner Liane Carroll, Bridgette Amofah, Jono McClerry, Pete Simpson and Mike Skinner’s affiliated vocalist Laura Vane.
