In Jan 2010 we’ll be bringing you an exclusive interview we recently filmed with the man at the Top – Mr Paul Oakenfold! Living ledge Paul Oakenfold has pretty much done it all and done it first…from supporting Madonna to remixing U2!
With that in mind, we have 2 signed copies of his latest remix album ‘Perfecto Las Vegas’ for us to give away! So for your chance to win just watch the video and send your answers to competition@looptv.net before the closing date of Friday 12th Feb 2010.
A big thankyou to everyone who entered our Clubbers Essentials competition last month – we had a massive response to this, but unfortunately there can only be one winner and that was Paul Hamilton – So Congratulations to him! Prize is on its way to you.
Good Luck!

Paul Oakenfold is not the man at the top… he became arrogant and clubbers very quickly disliked him. He is a sell-out slating dance music and the people who made him famous. He would not fill a huge venue these days in the way that Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk or Armin would do.
Hi Matt, I do not know if you are a DJ or not but here is something you should keep in mind, I started DJ in 78 and I played all the music trend until 94 when I got married and stop DJ but I can understand Y you feel like that, but I have to tell you that I have respect for Paul is one of those guy that payed is dues, the guy started before house music was popular and at that time we can only play top 40 if you want it to keep the job for 150$ a night, imagine that it still a very well known and relative DJ and producer, label owner and bala bla bla. the name that you mention before are massive because their music appeal to those kids that they have nothing to do but voting for those DJ that play that sound, by the way ( my wife organized a rave in 1993 and have Paul Van Dyk in one of is first appearance in the US ) the end of the story is that he is a different dj then those mention in your response, peace and love forever.
