LoopTV present this video gem from recently established Surfer Rosa Records packed full of adrenaline fuelled japery called ‘Stuka’.

The new tune from wunderkind Stripper ‘Stuka’ features the talents of MC Sir Real (him from Painkiller).

Surfer Rosa Records is DJ and Producer Tim Healey’s new label, which launched in mid May 2010.

Described as the sound of a 21st century exotic beach party colliding head-on with the most cutting edge dance producers alive today. With a host of releases planned including tracks from Nom De Strip, Hatiras, Felguk, Stripper, and MC Junior Red and of course… Tim Healey himself.

Nick Thayer | Vs. Sevenmilligram | VJ Mix

With 30 releases, 2 Mix CDs, a Breakspoll Award, and a catalogue of remixes being played by everyone from Breakbeat dons the Plump DJs, The Cuban Brothers, and Baltimore godfather Scottie B, Nick Thayer is no stranger to variety.

Here Nick goes into VJ battle with designer and image maker Theo Robinson a.k.a. ‘Sevenmilligram’ to create this VJ mix of the DJ and VJ show which Nick uses in some of his Live shows.

Theo explains some of the processes going on in this video…

“I created it using After Effects but have tried to capture the more raw style captured by early Arkaos when VJing. I have a preference towards choppy video and layers which feel appropriate to the style of music and Nick’s DJing as a whole. It’s about the references and context as much as the technical ability.”
“One of the other key concepts behind what we are trying to do is what I guess you would call something like a ‘key moment’, which was being able to link up 5-10 songs throughout the performance with specfic visual layers – the ‘I’m getting high’ or ‘money’ loops are examples of this – allowing for 30 odd seconds of sycnhronicity both visually and musically.”

As Halloween is almost upon us we thought we’d get into the spirit with this hi-res version of the hugely viral drum and bass music video ‘All Hell Is Breaking Loose’ by London Elektricity. The video accompanied the single taken from London Elektricity’s fourth studio album ‘Syncopated City’ – released in September 2008.

This video was commissioned by Tony Colman of Hospital Records and made by Kenny Frankland, and it went hugely viral! It is still racking up great views on YouTube.

Neither evil or nine, Tom Beaufoy and Pat Pardy are Adam Freeland’s favourite pets. Since signing to the electro maverick’s Marine Parade label, the breakbeat-spewing duo has collaborated with an elite of hip-hop dignitary while gorging on acclaim from the music press’s ink-smudged pages.

Here we present their final extract from last year’s ‘They Live!’ LP – ‘Icicles’, in this the third in the Zombie Trilogy of Evil Nine videos! Featuring Seraphim from No Surrender affirms the pairings sonic screwing mettle.
